Some toys were complete flops, some were extremely innovative and captured kids' imaginations for days. Many of them predicted future videogame interfaces and dynamics.

Bite your tounge... it STARTED the Console age, along with the 2600 and the Odyssey before it.

Maze-a-Tron you just collected 1's and 0's and keep alive for the longest time without touching the side of the screen. Don't forget the awesome (well back in the day) of Intellivoice, which brought Voice Synthesis to some games:Tron Solar SailorBomb SquadB-17 BomberSpace Spartins (with 70's Cylon Warrior voice included!)Now Imagic was the hotest game developer on the scene with their cool looking Foil boxes, and their graphics on any three systems looked damn good. Then you had Activision which pushed some limits of the imgination, but very colorful games. Including River Raid, Barnstorming, Freeway, Stampeed, Pitfall 1 and II (II always pissed me off), and Chopper Command. Then you had M-Network (which was Intellivision's Brand) and Coleco who tried to make games for the Atari 2600 but you needed a great deal of imagination for Donkey Kong.Ah the memories of the Golden Age of video games.

My parents bought a Microvision for an Xmas present back in the day. I friggin' loved that thing, and it broke. My mother returned it, and the second on broke, and then I cried.I was way too young to realize that they were defective by design. Hey Milton Bradley! Those damn things were horribly expensive when they were new. Thanks for the quality manufacturing!
