ATT chose to business this way - giving an account (credit) without verifying identity and credit worthiness. How is that not fair? Almost any company that provides credit of some sort does this. They aren't careful enough providing credit, because they turn around and: A: pretend it's the consumers fault because they had their identity stolen.B: make more money providing credit easily than they lose to thieves. Cost of doing business.
