If an officer of the law says 'no signs' in the building,that is different than saying 'No Librarians'.Citizens are required to follow officers' lawful directions,an officer's request for no signs is a lawful request.He clearly said she could go in, without the sign.So she could have left the sign in a trash can (no littering!) and go into the town hall meeting. No problem here, and no story to tell.The Police are not at fault for enforcing order.If ANY other signs were let in - that is bad, but if NO signs were let in, that was fair.She could have rolled up the sign (written on cloth) and then sneak the sign in to the town hall meeting. Then when she displayed the sign she would have been removed, and maybe taser zapped if she resisted arrest - but she would have had a chance to display her sign.

Monkbot, politics aside, saying "not necessarily, the McCain = Bush sign is correct your suggestion isn't" is not an argument. You're arbitrarily assuming the validity of your argument, and using it as a counter argument. That's a little circular. It's as effective as the following:-The Strokes are better than Madonna.-Well I could say that Brittney Spears is better than the White Stripes.-Not necessarily, because the Strokes ARE better than Madonn, while Brittney Spears is not better than the White Stripes.Asserting your original point doesn't make it any more true. It just makes you seem silly.

How can you trespass at city hall on public property? If she was causing a scene, yelling and scream,at least that makes sense. She was just standing there.
