chrisbrunner.com — The Alabama Department of Homeland Security has recently constructed a website that defines Domestic Terrorists as those who oppose a strong federal government. In short, if you oppose gun control, taxes, military intervention, foreign-held national debt, or just a large federal government, you might be a terrorist!

Don't worry, one has been created exclusively for you.If you speak up, if you don't watch the proscribed television entertainment fitting a patriot, if you question what is going on, you'll be on the list automatically. Is there any irony in the fact that in the 1990's they tried to paint "patriots" as the terrorists, and now anyone they say isn't displaying "enough patriotism" is now being labeled a terrorist?????

Maybe we should invite those nations, the few that still exist, the few that still hold the same beliefs that led the United States to defend Europe from the National Socialists, to invade us and restore the democracy we all still believe in. Maybe it needs to be that "radical". Maybe if those that are not willing to defend thier own freedom need the assistance of those who are willing to stand tall and correct the wrongs that are being perpetrated upon a great peoples. We defended Europe from the evils of National Socialism. We liberated France, we liberated belgium, the netherlands, austria, italy, poland, hungary, and many other countries. When will you guys liberate us? We're doing the same invasion fun and games that the national socialists did. How about liberating us? The last thing we need is for our government to take things so far that it ends up being the Chinese who "liberate" us. That will end any prospect of democracy, it will destroy all ideas of freedom. By the way, when did Capitalism win it's revolution? Communism won it's revolution, but the democracy of America never fought a revolution for capitalism, it was just assumed that we wanted it, it was never our ideology, it was never our way of life, it was never our founding principle, yet around 1920, we just unquestioningly adopted it, by the merit of our newspapers and our government, funded by capitalist industry. We adopted it without any national referendum, without any popular vote. It was a silent revolution. Capitalism and Communism were revolutionary ideologies. Russia fought for it, but we were silently given it. National Socialism, Communism and Capitalism were 1900 era ideologies. All were basically founded on the idea of industry lording over labor. Each had their good and bad points. All but capitalism were validly debated and eventually forced beyond the people's will, except that in America, Capitalism was somehow accepted as "de facto" for some odd reason. Why was that??? all three ideas came out of the same time, the same camps, the same industrialist interests, yet nobody debated capitalism, we just accepted this ideology without question while demonizing national socialism and communism. Should we have questioned capitalism as well???wow, we got suckered. We're fools. What ever happened to democracy? Wasn't that our goal, wasn't that what we founded ourselves on?

Cognitive Dissonance. Look it up.You are presented with a view you can't agree with, so you label it, or attack it, or dismiss it as being mentally defective. Unfortunately, you expose yourself as being even more mentally deficient by doing so.If you were cognizant, you'd be able to argue against that viewpoint, yet all you can do is call it some name, be derogatory, and ignore what may turn out to be more true than your simple little mind can handle.Sorry, you are a loser. I'm going to call you a borderline personality disorder, because it makes me feel better. If I can dismiss you as having a mental problem, I won't have to consider your ideas as being valid. It's just easier. You are a mental patient, you are dumb, you are stupid, something like that. Maybe, sure, possibly. That way I don't have to give your point of view any thought.

Not if you watch Fox News Channel. Those folks get scared easily, they look towards their all powerful federal government to protect them. They are never going to look towards their constitution for protection, only towards the very same people who are trying so hard to erode their freedoms. They's ignant, they's ignant fokes who wood hope theys guvmint can saves thems from the boogeymen. It's sad, really, that we're going to lose our democracy for a bunch of foolish baby boomer idiots. If we revolted, it would only empower these fools. If we speak up, it only empowers these Bill Oreilley watching idiots. We've lost our nation, it is now in the hands of fools who will cheer when the fascists march down H St. Nw, DC, (you can't march down Pennsylvania Ave) and it is so sad that they will cheer the demise of our constitution.Archie Bunker is now a fascist. Cheering on the erosion of "We the People". Sad, but that is what the television watching mindliess populace wants. This is what they want.We should either accept it, or leave, I guess. That's what they told the protestors during the vietnam war, and even though history has proven the vietnam war WRONG, that's just how the 28% who support that s**t see it, so the rest of us, the other 72% of us should just shut up or leave.

@ aukxsonaTell me how one fights for an issue 99% of people don't believe exist. In such a situation, "freedom fighters" end up in institutions with the nasty label of "paranoid."

It takes a terrorist to know a terrorist.

I wish that people who said things like that would give a complete explanation that goes past vague, unsourced news reports and unquestioned announcements made by people who have consistently manipulated the people of the US by exploiting the unfounded trust given to them. That aside though, you are really going to have to explain what makes citizens of the United States who attempt to influence their government, as is their and your BASIC RIGHT to do, and who "oppose gun control, taxes, military intervention, foreign-held national debt, or just a large federal government" equal to terrorists. Otherwise don't expect to be met with anything but disgust and accusations of naivety.

You probably wouldn't be able to support yourself if you didn't have so many modern tools and luxuries that capitalism has brought us. Most of us wouldn't be here were it not for these advances in technology.

What more could anyone expect from the State of Alabama? We have Bob Riley in office. Bob Riley is a big buddy of George Dubya. The links to the wesbites for the state of Alabama have been convenienty removed by the state. Imagine that. What are they afraid of? I have found them for you and you can see them for yourself here:<a class="user" href="http://209.85.129.104/search?q=cache:1S1fSMiwTxgJ:www.homelandsecurity.alabama.gov/tap/hate_groups.htm+http://www.homelandsecurity.alabama.gov/tap/hate_groups.htm&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us&client=firefox-a">http://209.85.129.104/search?q=cache:1S1fSMiwTxgJ:www.homelandsecurity.alabama.gov/tap/hate_groups.htm+http://www.homelandsecurity.alabama.gov/tap/hate_groups.htm&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us&client=firefox-a</a>And here:<a class="user" href="http://209.85.135.104/search?q=cache:NZZeQlDYWxEJ:www.homelandsecurity.alabama.gov/tap/anti-gov_grps.htm+http://www.homelandsecurity.alabama.gov/tap/anti-gov_grps.htm&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us&client=firefox-a">http://209.85.135.104/search?q=cache:NZZeQlDYWxEJ:www.homelandsecurity.alabama.gov/tap/anti-gov_grps.htm+http://www.homelandsecurity.alabama.gov/tap/anti-gov_grps.htm&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us&client=firefox-a</a>And sure enough it is as plain as day:Anti-government groups usually believe: * Gun Control = Enslavement * Constitution has been subverted * The U.S. has lost its sovereignty"In general, these terrorists claim that the U.S. government is infringing on their individual rights, and/or that the government's policies are criminal and immoral. Such groups may hold that the current government is violating the basic principles laid out by the U.S. Constitution and that a new world order is attempting to enslave humanity. Some groups also believe that the government and other organizations are transgressing the rule of God as described in the Bible. Some groups see themselves as *separate nations* within the United States, taking the initiative to establish their own laws and common-law courts."So according to the State of AL (and PA as mentioned by another poster) we are ALL "terrorists". And just like Alex Jones and the rest of the Patriot movement warned THIS exact thing is what the un-Patriot Act was all about. It wasn't about "saving us from the terrorists" it was all about making sure that their agenda was not met with any resistance. If resistance occurs then label them as "terrorists" under the un-Patriot Act provisions, have them thrown in jail and move on with the agenda.

Those newly defined "Terrorists" should ALL show up at the state police stations on a single day and demand to be arrested, handed over to the feds, and sent to Guantanamo bay
