ponderthis.net — I did not work hard, avoid debt and live in austerity in order to be fleeced to pay for the foolish activity of brain dead bankers. Please do not make the United States into a further mockery of justice. As my representative I urge you with educated sincerity to VOTE NO ON THE BAIL OUT FRAUD.

Thanks Kemp!! I don't really know if there's any reason to change a thing you said you expressed it so perfectly.

I know I'm not very well educated in economics and politics, but I'm still not swayed to let congress pass this bill-- and I made sure my congresswoman knows it.Dear Representative Harman,As a constituent, I urge you to vote no on the upcoming bailout bill that was just passed by the Senate. I also urge you to continue voting no on any similar bills. Congressman Kucinich raised some very good questions during the last bailout vote. While some of those questions have been addressed with this new bailout bill, I remain unconvinced. Specifically:* Why do we have so little time to pass legislation?* How does bailing out these poorly managed companies make much difference in the long run?* What are the real factors that caused this recession in the first place?* What is the *real* estimate of how much the bailout will cost?* Won't Wall Street always be the biggest winner with any bailout plan proposed?* Isn't all this talk of bailouts causing more disturbance of the stock market than if none of these bailouts had been proposed?I've heard that $700 billion is small in comparison to how much goes in and out of Washington during a year--but I've also heard that we just broke the $10 trillion in national debt. Where is the government going to get more money? I certainly hope it won't be printed. It comes down to this: we have found ourselves in a recession, and I doubt all the money in Washington is going to change that.I would enjoy hearing any additional explanations and insights regarding my above concerns, but for now I must again ask your NO vote on the upcoming bailout bill.
