newsbusters.org — The WSJ is an indispensable voice of conservatism. But the paper diverges from conservative orthodoxy on immigration, where the paper has argued for a more flexible attitude. The WSJ is a neoconservative, not a conservative, rag. Not only is the WSJ not conservative when it comes to immigration, but it is also not conservative in its naked support for preemptive strikes against countries that threaten the interests of Israel -- which it dishonestly frames as being the interests of America. Simply put, there's nothing conservative about preemptive foreign wars (on behalf of the Israel lobby, no less).
