arstechnica.com— With all the rumors swirling about Leopard's possible April release date, developers close to the matter want to make something very clear: we're all crazy.

I can hear it now, at WWDC, "And today...we are releasing the all new, superfast 8 core MacPro (crowd goes wild)...and it is running OS TEN Point five. (slide with the new MacPro/Display with a Leopard on its desktop apears.)
Oh wait, are we actually taking some blog posted to digg serious and arguing about removal of Apple invented technology which dozens of LEGIT software relies on?Should drink 1 more coffee before commenting. That is BS, Input managers won't be removed or nobody gives up their paid software and moves to Leopard. It won't be easy to understand for people who breaks copyright and NDA and posting it to digg.
In my opinion, Tiger still beats the crap out of Vista, and Apple can take their sweet ass time making sure Leopard is "DONE" and not rush it out the door. I am more than happy to wait as long as it takes.
No InputManager means I probably won't be upgrading, at least not until someone comes up with a viable alternative (like they did the last time Apple tried to remove Menu Extras). I'm sure Unsanity or someone will think of something, but it will be awhile. No biggie, I didn't switch to Tiger for several months, I didn't switch to Intel for a year, and I didn't upgrade to OS X for a couple years. I'm not one of these sad people that refreshes rumor sites all day and downloads the latest beta for use as their primary operating system. Give it to me when everything actually works.
Damn, but probably true. My old G4 is getting to me. Too many f**king beachballs. I can't wait for Leopard and hardware updates so I can buy a new one. Feels pointless to buy now.
I wish all these horse's asses would stop trying to micromanage Apple's development process from the Peanut Gallery and simply let them do their job. Apple has been saying all along that Leopard will be ready by June; yet there's an army of morons out there wildly speculating based on nothing but hot air, then crying "Whoops!" as though Apple had failed to live up to its committments. This is ridiculous. One thing the internet has taught me above all else: It is obviously much easier to type than to think!
I really like to see a awesome product that puts Vista to shame. Stevie J and Co did say it will ship in the first half of 2007. As long as it ships before June, Leopard is still on time. That still gives them a couple of weeks to get it just right, I say take as long as you need!

I think Steve may have a couple of surprises of his sleeves, since they clearly declared that Leopard is gonna be shipping this SPRING!!!

I'd rather they take their time and do a good job than rush Leopard out the door like they did with Tiger.
