it must be confusing if you bought a dell and the mouse is already actually made by logitech.
macs come with a 4 button mouse, it just doesn't look like a piece of s**t covered in buttons like microsoft/logitechs do

Nonsense. The Compiz effect was available and in place months before the first announcement by Apple. Unless you're claiming they can read minds, which would be a phenomenal achievement.

The word 'feature' is quite vague anyhow. Personally I'd call it a hindrance. Didn't drop shadows go out of fashion in the Nineties?

I think they are new, you could use corners, but I don't think you could actually map mouse buttons to expose until now
