gizmodo.com — Acclaimed tech maven, TWIT podcast host and Time's Person of the Year (aren't we all?) Leo Laporte has made his own astute prediction about Apple's upcoming—dare we say it—iPhone, as he calls it. He went out on a limb, saying he had "absolutely no doubt" the iPhone would make its debut at MacWorld 2007.

Where's the source where he supposedly said this? The link to "Mac Gazette" is broken on Gizmodo.

I wouldn't think that just because Leo said it, it makes it true. Although, I think that Apple showing off the Apple Phone at Macworld would be a good marketing move.

I am so sick of the horrid PDA's Verizon offers, so I am very interested in the Apple phone. I just hate the idea of switching to t-mobile or Cingular. Verizon has horrid phones, but I love everything else about them. The other company's have great phones, but I hate everything else about them. I feel stuck. Apple save me!

Ahem, does anyone remember a little no advertising on TWiT prediction?

Gizmodo, you are starting to stink since hanging out at the bottom of the barrel, you guys screwed up by playing with the Apple communities head on the iPhone. Don't get in Leo's face about telling the truth about how you screwed your integrity. Digg users are very loyal to Leo, not so loyal to Gizmodo.
