therawfeed.com — Usually rip-off counterfeits are produced by disreputable, back-room shops nobody's heard of. Now, it appears, international computing giant Lenovo is getting into the act. The company's new Android handset is called the oPhone, and the software interface looks a LOT like the iPhone's.

Similarities based on just the initial pictures: color palette, top bar, icon shape and size, icon layout, dots at bottom to indicate which page of the desktop you're on, phone keypad layout (specifically the size and placement of the call button), phone icon (backwards iPhone icon with a different color and cartoony look), mail icon (almost identical), contacts icon (same color, etc.).You're trying wayyyyyyy to hard to prove you're the opposite of an Apple fanboy by denying it. It's unnecessary, as this is not a discussion of Apple's innovation or lack thereof. It is not a matter of opinion. Factually, it looks very close to the same. It's too bad, I think that Android has a nice look to it as is. I can't say a whole lot for it since I haven't used it... that wouldn't be fair. But based on visuals, I do like it, and I think it's a platform that could work just as well with the multi-touch format. They don't need to ripoff the iPhone so blatantly.Love it or hate it, the iPhone changed the game.

Yeah that's why Windows 7 is starting to look more and more like OS X. It's just erm.. because icons look the same.

I was with you until you said the iPhone "didn't innovate anything."Apparently you have a very foggy memory of what the mobile landscape was like in the US before the iPhone was released. You might dislike Apple, but you can't deny that they changed the game with the iPhone.
