wii.gamedaily.com — GameDaily's Robert Workman gives us a preview of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess due this fall on both GameCube and Wii. The article talks mostly about how the Wii-mote provides different gameplay over the GameCube, a few comments on possible graphic differences and how Nintendo stays true to its roots with classic Zelda sounds.

Just an FYI- Game Crazy stores allow you to put 5 bucks down on a pre-order for Twilight Princess BUT they will let you decide which version you want when the game drops. So if you aren't sold on the Wii yet but know you will be buying this game that is a pretty good way to go about pre-ordering.As far as I know EB Games and GameStop will only allow you to pre-order either the Wii version or the GC version.

Durinthal: But isn't this Link technically a different Link?Wouldn't the story line from Ocarina of Time be OoT > Majora's Mask > Wind Waker > Phantom Hourglass (Another adventure with the cel Link and Tetra)?I know Cel Link wasn't exactly the favorite Link, but timeline-wise he fits in to the OoT story. Really, unless Twilight Princess somehow ties into the whole Hero of Time saga, wouldn't it be just another alternate universe and not a "Follow up" storywise (though obviously a follow-up in terms of the dark plot and adult link usage)?

Badbox likely played using the guidebook that EB employees love to push on people.

Wind Waker was a marvelous game. The only problem was the search for the Triforce and how that really slows the game down. Having you search the oceans rather than placing those pieces in more dungeons was the biggest sin.The graphics were amazing.

I'll agree that the treasure hunt was annoying as it could have been 2 or 3 dungeons but I don't feel it was as bad as many claim it to be. I had found most of the treasure maps before I even started it and it took me an hour of total gameplay time probably to find them all.I feel that MM and TWW are up there with Zelda II as some of the most underappreciated Zelda games. I feel MM and TWW are just because they commited the sin of not being OoT.

Hopefully it won't be to long before they make another sequel after Phantom. Designed specifically for the Wii. Does anyone know when Mario Galaxy will be released as I see that title as an important one to sell consoles.

In the Legend of Zelda Storyline, I think that this would either be between OoT and Majora or between Majora and Wind Waker.
