Why in the world did this get buried? This is post is the only reason this comment is hundred times better then the attached article that made the frontpage.
@chris9902: You're an inconsiderate dick.@automagically: There's an option to fix this, at least from what I've experienced... "Correct reversed picking driver bug" in system prefs>openGL... I hope that works for you, if not, try enabling/disabling hardware acceleration and such.
Sketchup's an awesome program. I've been using for close to 5 years and there's a ton of advantages. It's a lot faster than those heavier 3d programs and can be used to quickly create a 3d model in front of your clients where you're limited to a 2d isometric diagram with the traditional pencil+paper method.I'm not inviting the Mac vs PC debate, but it works great on both, then like retral mentioned, you can export it to DW* and 3D* formats for AutoCAD or Max workstations at work (regardless of what platform your job tells you to use).
