Actually anther great way is to be so far behind in bills that when they open up an acount in your name it gets frozen so fast that they can not even spend themoney.

Put a fraud alert on your file BEFORE your identity is ever stolen? Huh? That doesn't seem right. The part about putting a freeze on your own credit sounds like it might be a good idea, but I bet in practice it's a lot more trouble than it's worth.
