valleywag.com — On February 26, Yahoo plans to beta launch Yahoo Buzz as a competitor to Digg, and a tipster supplied Valleywag with screenshots. Buzz, built under the direction of VP Tapan Bhat, will begin with a limited number of publishers -- about 100 -- and will rank stories based on popular search results and user voting.

It's so cute when the failing companies try to prove they're still hip... by ripping off successful original sites/companies that have been running for the past few years. Fail, Yahoo. Just die peacefully.Yahoo is starting to remind me of AOL's last ditch attempts to keep their customers from jumping ship.

The test will come as soon as anything slightly controversial is submitted or made popular - assuming they aren't far too late to the user generated content party in the first place.http://www.cheapcarinsurancequotes.co.za
