youtube.com— Guy loses French "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" on easy question. The question is "What rotates around the Earth?" The audience votes for The Sun

Maybe. To their credit, American people are less vicious than the French in that respect. So that would make your impression of me more likely correct, in that case. But I don't think it's implausible that many of them had the same idea. They're vicious like that.
Three observations:1) This is old. It was most popular when Miss Teen South Carolina was making Americans look stupid so this video showed up to make the French people look stupid instead. :)2) The most important part of the video is that 56% of the French audience thought the sun revolves around the world, not the fact that this one man is "le idiot." So whoever titled this "Le Idiot" is missing out on the big picture.3) Even his relative (the girl "Sophie" at the end) is uncertain that the moon is the correct answer, stating she only "thinks" it's the moon. She doesn't say, "it's the moon," she says, "I think it's the moon."This video is just an embarassment of riches for France. Pathetic.
No, there would be two right answers if we were talking about a binary star system and which of the two stars rotates around the other, but when the two bodies have such disparate masses as the Earth and the sun, there is only one right answer. The center of gravity is INSIDE the sun. Therefore, you cannot say that the sun revolves around the Earth. You could say that the sun revolves around the point inside the sun that corresponds to the center of gravity of the combined system, but that wasn't one of the options.
