To all of you shouting that lawyers are greedy, stupid, etc. I have one question:If you were offered the job (or something similar), would you turn it down just because of how much money they make?
How many of you actually read the article? This isn't a Nigerian scam, this wouldn't even have sounded remotely suspicious. It was a very sophisticated scam that went through because somebody dropped the ball. And that party was CitiBank who assured said client that the funds cleared when in fact they hadn't. If I had an regular client who paid me, then I called the bank to ensure that I had been paid and the funds cleared and then it turns out they hadn't, would you say I got Nigerian scammed?

I keep hearing these stories more and more often, you would think people had more common sense. At least this guy was mature about the loss
