There are 2 boarder agents in prison right now for shooting a convicted drug smuggler and known gang member after he attacked one of the agents. And now sit in general population in south florida where roughly half of the inmates are illegal because a judge took the word of a multiple felon over theirs, and (then gave him amnesty on the felony charges and citizenship). Why would any of the agents put they're life on the line if that's the way they are repaid?
