I don't doubt things like that can help sort out potential threats, but in the end you still have a person at the other end making a decision.Once there has been songs and Family Guy episodes made about it, you sort of have to agree it isn't much of a secret conspiracy to go paranoid about. About five years ago I had a state issued Audiovox cell phone. Piece of crap really but it did have GPS on it. You could turn the feature off btw.
