Regardless of how quiet Mrs. Bush has been in the past, I hope that she continues to speak out on these very personal issues. The conservatives are always screaming about freedom, values and rights, while fearing big government. What is more oppressive than telling a woman when she can give birth or telling a person who to love enough to marry?

Even if it was Bush who is her husband, it's still right to support him as a wife.

Of course gay marriage should be legal. I'm fairly conservative and still can't see the downside to it. Abortion should be legal (and forced in some instances if the mother is a slacker loser).
