actually the big deal is that it was the digg logo and seeing as how this is digg... Also the guy building a dig case for his computer got it on and he wasn't kevin so go f**k yourself, obviously the masses wanted it on the front page or it wouldn't be here you don't like it leave.
zulusafari - My father in law has one of these laser etchers, and does a lot of custom photography etches onto wood. For a full blown photograph on an 8x11 piece of wood, he usually charges 150-300, depending on the intricacy of the photograph. For laser etched bar glasses, he usually charges 50-100 for a dozen.
A think an engraved, Kevin Rose owned, black MacBook would probably bring in beaucoup bucks in some kinda super fanboy eBay auction. Even if it was broken.

it isn't very artistic or snazzy but that's not what it's about, it's all about digg pride, I think it gets the point accross.
