youtube.com — Bullrun 2006 started today and a Lamborghini has a license plate frame, which makes the plate unreadable with the press of a button, another press and its back to normal. This vehicle is in the cross country race, and may be speeding past you soon! Race runs for the next nine days! This is something that we all will need to beat traffic cameras!

ilyag, don't you love being dugg down for making possibly the best statement about what freaking a-holes these bullruners are.

i am not a hater because i can't afford a high performance car, i am a hater because those who can tend to think it gives them license to be as much of a douchebag as their car will allow them to be. maybe i will just buy a fighter plane and fly fast and low in between buildings because it would be a shame not to utilize such an awesome machine for the most self-indulgent thrill i can conceive of. who are you to tell me i can't?

@olegk: That would be why he had to get higher rated tires for that Porsche. High end cars have a minimum speed rating for the tires that are met before they can be put on the cars, it's so you don't have standard tires on there that would come apart at 120 or so.In some cases you might just have to go elsewhere for your tires. I had that problem with my BMW; wen't for tires and was told they didn't have any to match the rating of the vehicle. So I wouldn't be concerned about a blowout, it's not like Porsche uses Firestone.

Thats a cool idea, yeah not hard to find the only lambo in a few 100 miles - but something like that would be really usefull here on a normal car. (in England we dont have proper police only 1000's of speed cameras hidden in bushes and the fines are all automatic)Now, all I would need to do is rig it up to my radar detector so it switches automatically and a mask so the photos cant see my face & no more fines for me!

I hope he understands that driving without a tag carries a much higher fine than speeding.

Actually saw a mustang try to race an undercover cop in a seemingly plain white camaro. Mustang revved his engine, cop revved his, mustang took off (already in excess of 80 when it started), the cop took off much faster. Needless to say the cop won and I saw the mustang being towed on my way in the opposite direction 30 minutes later. One of the funniset things I have seen.

Quote: "This is something that we all will need to beat traffic cameras!"Yes. Because actually driving within the speed limit and following traffic laws would be unthinkable.

Exactly. There's a difference between driving fast and driving reckless. Why do people always assume they have to go hand in hand?
