I agree, but this is also reflected in other sectors of business. I am unsure how much, but it is common knowledge that men are owners of businesses far more than women.
"If "Non-Minority, Non-Hispanic White Devils" own most of the media then why does it seems like there is such a movement to bash Caucasians in the media, particularly the news media?"because it's trendy to be anything but white
Nevermind, I only read the first paragraph. After reading further, I find that it is indeed about this. Too bad, they could have actually used this story to cover an actual issue like consolidation of media outlets, instead of a non-issue like this. Buried.
Hexydes makes a good point, but only half of the point needed. The problem of disproportionate prosecution is not a racial issue, but a socio-economic issue. I have some experience watching the legal system work, and those that don't have money to hire a good lawyer always get unequal justice.Furthermore, just look at OJ as an example of a black man, with great wealth, who beat a murder trial. Everyone knows he did it. The problem is not race, the problem is the legal system has inept court appointed attorneys with limited resources. Minorities just happen to have more poor people as a percentage of their population compared to whites. Money talks, and sometimes lets murderers walk.

I've always been puzzled by the whole belief in the "liberal media." I've NEVER found that to be so.
