The article didn't mention whether or not cannons are allowed in the courthouse, because if they are...wow, that changes everything.

Actually, the music industry (represented by IFPI) "only" asked for 15 million SEK (around 1.7 million USD). The MPAA asked for 90 million SEK (some 10 million USD).This is despite the music industry being in a steep nosedive, while the film industry sported record sales last summer in Sweden.

"I pirated Medieval 2: Total War a few months ago, I absolutely love the Total War series"That's a pretty douche thing to say - if you love something, pay for it. If everyone thought like you, there would be no more Total War games, because they'd have made precisely $0. How would you feel then?

I wish some of the people on this site actually produced a product, and then were required to give it away until all profit was gone, and there was nothing left to invest in new products or production. As someone who has invested thousands of dollars in patent protection of products my husband has created, and then to see it get ripped off by greedy people, who don't want to pay a few cents royalty, the attitudes of the posters here remind me a lot of real pirates. (...not so nice if pirates decide they want what you have.) Hey, it's a lot like our government...teaching everyone that someone else 'owes' them...so take what you want!
