That's not ironic, pbuschma. Everyone knows Apples spends 'all their money' on advertising. Apple is now simply making the claim that Microsoft is, yet again, mimicking them.
I'm not sure if it is ironic or moronic that this AD is complaining about ADvertising. It is like the pot looking in a mirror and calling itself black. Apple is very successful for years with an upbeat, entertaining, ad campaign that attacks Microsoft's week spots. Microsoft fails again and again with ads, but finally does well with a very positive and upbeat ad (just like the typical Mac campaign.) The Microsoft ad attacks no one, and focuses only on positive ideas. What does Apple do in response? Nothing for weeks. I didn't see a single Mac ad as if they pulled them all in response to Microsoft, then two attack ads criticizing Microsoft for advertising. Microsoft Ad = upbeat, positive. Mac ad = ugly, petty, and spiteful, not a single valuable comment about either operating system, just pure reactionary nonsense. Apple tends to be so good at this, I expected more.
