gizmodo.com— These tiles can be embedded on the floors, walls or the ceilings, and are available in blue, yellow or white. The LEDs are single solid color or slowly alternating colors for a relaxed rave feel.

I love all kinds of home improvement, and stuff like this would really be amazing in my place. When I read the article headline though, I was kindof hoping for a michael jackson sort of thing where you steppd on a tile and it would glow a certain color. That would -really- help in the night =)
Can we say... night-light?Instructions:1. Purchase night-light (usually $5 or less)2. Rip open package (don't cut yourself)3. Plug into wall socketRepeat as needed
Just got glass tiles put into my bathroom and my wife and I love it. We used http://www.glasstilewarehouse.com and they were very quick and efficient. I am glad I didn't attempt to remodel our bathroom myself.

Depends if a dropped match is involved!

A bit too ironic...

I was also expecting to see the whole tile light up. That would be cooler.

No, the real question is when can I get a floor like in Billy Jean so it lights up when I trot to the toilet for my morning glory?

i was hoping that entire tiles would be glowing LED tiles :( not a little spot in the middle of the tiles.

THERE'S LEDS THAT LEAD A PATH TO THE TOILET, NOW ALL I NEED IS SOMEONE TO MAKE A TOILET SEAT WITH A TARGET MADE OUT OF LEDS SO I CANT MISS.

its easier to embed a LED on sleeping caps :)

I did this in an hour, just put an LED strip behind the glass tiles while putting them up. http://newttech.net/projects/diy-led-glass-tiles/

Looks great. This is a nice idea if your bathroom light is kind of dim so that the LED light will be emphasize.
