latimesblogs.latimes.com — Asked to explain the sudden groundswell of opposition to Scientology, Lynn Fountain Campbell, who said she'd been part of the church for 40 years, said, "It's just reached a critical mass. People just aren't scared anymore."

Damn 4chan. Do they really need to validate themselves with digg, and a stupid nickname?

While I thought the article was fair, I don't know how you would consider it to be 'researched.' The author quoted a wiki, and thought it was important to note that the protestors had little to no tan. Now, I don't live in LA, but in Chicago people are not judged by how much time they've spent in the sun.

Censored information. What is incredibly interesting about this movement tho is that with no real leaders, a worldwide protest happened. Apparently people are already doing their graduate thesis' on it. Anon is a pure form of organization with no corruption, no leaders. Only a goal.

"The loosely bound group of net activists" is all I hear from major media! as well as "mostly young people" Maybe I am being over sensitive because mainstream media tends to eff up every story I give an ess about (ridiculous self edits for lolz btw) I am really happy they are not ignoring this major story, so props to them, but I haven't heard a major news group report on the Anon story with out mentioning young, and loosely organized. Loose my ahss! B.A.s of Anon created a world wide response. I could keep going, but you would probably get bored, and you get the idea.

The point of ANON's critisism is not th beliefs of scientology. They are not challenging the plausibility of all that stuff about Xenu, thetans, etc (although alot can be said about it). The point is the practices and conduct of this "church". Spiritual enlightenment (if you can call it that) should never come at the price of economic enslavement.Find me one other religion in the world that has ever used the phrase "trade secret scriptures".
