We won't be truly safe until we have cameras that upload directly to the internet, so that we can get everything up the point where the jackboot comes down on the lens.Actually we won't be safe until we have the ability to fire our "protectors" on the spot, but that's a long way off.
Very cool. I'm so tired of police officers and social workers ignoring citizen's 4th amendment rights, it's a rampant problem and hopefully this will bring it to light. Not to mention the ridiculous waste of money known as the War on Drugs.
Amen brother. Everyone thinks so highly of the police that they expect us never to make mistakes. We are after all still people. No one ever gets pissed off at the guy at Taco Bell when he forgets a burrito or some nachos, but when the police forget something it's a media circus. Police officers are not extremely high paid experts. Most of us learn the job through practice and making mistakes just like everyone else.
^ Not to mention prescription painkillers and other "higher-class" drugs that the, well, higher classes seem to be able to use without the same kind of stigma people paint pot smokers with.
You're from belleville, ON? Me too & I have a corrupt police officer story of my own.The belleville police make up their own rules pretty much.I want to start a protest [it probably won't do too much but it may alert some of the more naive citizens that our police are corrupt as f**k.]Know anyone who'd be interested?
