nexgenwars.com— As crazy as it sounds, Hideo Kojima recently said that "Blu-Ray is too small for Metal Gear Solid 4."The current spec of Blu-Ray is only 25 GB, and he wants the newer spec 50 GB Blu-Ray for MGS4.

LoL, loving the "use HD DVD discs" comments. So after of shelling out 59.99 USD to play the game, you're gonna HAVE to shell out another 99.99 USD for an HD DVD player. Sounds real appealing and great marketing strategy.
Did you really, just compare Metal Gear to a f**king incomplete downloadable puzzle game on Xbox live? To everyone pointing out HD cut scenes, guess what, there are no Pre-rendered cut scenes in a metal gear:solid game, never have been, never will be.Every one saying that DVD-9 has enough space, obviously not for Metal Gear: Solid.Suck it up Fanboy's, and stop hitting the Microsoft kool-aid so hard. You'll feel better when you can admit that a game that came out for a machine you don't own was bad ass. This goes for Sony fanboy's too.I wish I could say the same for the Wii, but everyone knows we're going to have the best games on the Nintendo in the coming years ;).

If you compress the data, you should easily fit the game onto one Blu-Ray disk.
