I know it could definitely be viewed as "being a dick" but to me, if someone does something as stupid as this, they deserve to live with the consequences (shame, physical injury, whatever it may be) and I won't feel sorry for them.

some of you are so f**king inconsiderate. this was my role model growing up, my favorite cousin, 5 years odler than me. he is in a COMA right now. please be more considerate. i know it wasnt the brightest thing hes evern done, but he is no idiot. he is a successful programmer and graduate of PSU. the winds were 20 mph and im sure he thought he judged it well. thanks a lot to those of you who have acted mature about this.
