Well, you can use IE Tab addon and configure it for internal web apps so you won't need to manually launch IE. You could do it on all other computers if you work in IT dept.

a lot of small and non-profit orgs in Belgium are switching to Ubuntu with Firefox because they can't afford to lose data and machines every month.
