I don't have a backyard :(And way to be sensationalist, they're not asking them to name LION or PINE TREE but rather the type of stuff that you would need an identification chart to identify and would never benefit you in any way (and if you end up in a situation where it would, you would prepare beforehand).
yeah they want to learn. but the a class room can be so dull sometimes. changing location changes their focus. and more excited to learn something. going somewhere with children even if it is just outside school around the corner in the park. it seems they have been out for an entire day.
Thank you Cletus and Jookly for proving the point....yes money comes from advertising, but it also comes from trees....and although the kids may not need to scavenge the swamp for their food, if they don't learn the connection between the land and water that is being poisoned and the slab of chemical filled meat and pesticide laden strawberries on their dinner table, surely you are right.... it won't matter a damn anyway as they will be wondering what went wrong as they watch tv from their hospital beds. Maybe if our generation got outside more, we would "get it" for our kids sake....instead of blogging our lives away.
Since when are schools about learning? It's indoctrination. A socialist idea that if all children are forced to be carbon copies then society will be cured of all it's ills. I was given an IQ test and scored about 160. So I was put into special ED to fix that problem. School is one lie after another. Columbus discovered America. You can't take a larger number from a smaller number. I got snot beat out of me by the teacher for bringing up negative numbers. The next year we had a real sadistic teacher who would beat the crap out of kids over anything. That year I didn't do anything in class but draw. I refused to beat into submission. Every year was like that until I learned to destroy the mental stability of teachers. Then school became fun in 4th grade. One nervous break down after another and I finally enjoyed school. One time the substitute was in tears within 2 hours. I think she quit. That year the principle had to teach our class lol.I still love to learn but school has nothing to do learning. In closing "God damn America" I pray for all our deaths. The Virginia Tech shooter was an American Hero. That's my opinion and many share it.

Where do you think the bribes come from that our politicians take? You are but brain washed cattle. When people say Americans are stupid... It's fact established with testing.A socialist leader looks at all people as one person and that is bad for society. Yet consumerism is too. You want to know what a consumer is? --->Cattle!!
