Goddamn... guns aren't a panacea, y'know. If you're all carrying guns then it's just more of an incentive for the guys that are going to mug you to shoot you before you even see them. The kid should have just been more careful (ie gone with friends / parents / in a car / at a sensible hour / whatever).

That being said,.. if you flash your gun on someone who is trying to steal from you, I doubt that person will go to the cops to turn you in for a CCW violation.Im a gun owner in utah where anyone and their grandma can get a concealed permit.

Whats up with the gun owners on here?Dont you realize that if you use your gun to protect yourself from theft, you will lose your permit. If you discharge, you will be charged with (attempted) murder. You can only use your concealed weapon if you life in in danger. It does not cover being robbed unless the other person has a gun or other life threatening weapon. Am I wrong?--Definitely wrong. The kid was 'assaulted' In most states your fists are considered a deadly weapon, so the attacker doesn't have to wield a knife/gun etc.

Soooooooo. who do you sue? the assailants? No. the store that sold you the xBox? Maybe. Microsoft? YES! you always sue the people that have the money. Here's the deal kid, MS limited the number of Xboxes on purpose to generate buzz. This limitations means that some of the "i'll kick you ass and piss in your eye while i take your new xbox away from you" crowd didn't get a xbox, so therefore they beat you up and stole yours. If Ms would have releases enough in the first place this never would have happened. Sue MS and sue the store the sold you the Xbox for not warning you about the dangers of being the first kid on the block with a xbox 360.

All right let me give you a little background on myself because word of mouth spreads fast. I live in the same town, Minot,ND, as the kid who got assaulted. I go to the same school, Magic City Campus, as the kid who got mugged. If nobody believes me, add "ruffryder" to your friends list on xbox live and ask for Shawn Smith, the kid who got mugged. More than likely it will be him and not his little brother. If you dont believe any of this add me "hagg64" to your friends list. But back to the topic, for all of you f**kers who are saying he deserved to get mugged is sick and you all are f**king crazy I know he worked for that f**kin game system so don't talk about him not deserving it. So wut if you can think sumthin is funny and u have no emotions towards the situation. He has a f**kin job and to say that sumone who worked for months to buy that is just as bad as me saying that you dont deserve your computer that you spent 1G on to post a message or spend more than you need to to make a car go faster from point A to point B.Thats basically all i got to say on the topic but for all the haters and hypocrits go f**k yourself.
