Hopefully to light a fire under Microsofts ass. That's the problem with Microsoft and closed source software. They might know of a problem, they'll fix it when they are damn good and ready to. Not when it needs to be fixed. If some manager had a bad day of golf, well we can forget about the approval for time to be spent working on the fix. That's why they release details.
DaveVII, it's a fact that > 90% of the human population are idiots and whether or not you have any interest in the article is irrelevant when I'm infecting every computer on your network with key-loggers and rootkits, stealing your personal data, and compromising your companies security.
Kentucky bluegrass flower heads are blue when the plant is allowed to grow to its natural height of two to three feet. Also I think you should have said indigo instead of fuchsia because fuchsia is pink not blue."real men see red, white, and blue - not maroon, eggshell, and fuschia"
It obviously isn't a serious threat or they would fix it sooner. Let's not forget that Vista SP1 and Server 2008 use the same kernel, so if it was something that could bring down their servers easily, they'd fix it quickly!
