jcm, take a look at the famous *batters* who were caught using steroids. Each and every one of them bulked up at a random point in their career.

I acknowledge that Bonds is called an assh**e by a lot of players and fans, but for the record, Jeff Kent is an egomaniacal assh**e, too. Just ask the San Francisco Giants. What kind of an assh**e trades himself from SF to LA? He didn't get along with Bonds because two assh**es tend to just s**t all over each other.

I was a baseball (and every other sport) card freak when I was a kid. The only cards I still have are Griffey Jr.'s. One album with about 200-300 of just him. I have an oversized Upper Deck card that was a random player in the bottom of every box of cards. Only box of cards I've ever bought. What a thrill as a child.Only signed baseball I still have is a Jr. ball...sitting right on top of my monitor.Congrats!I can only imagine what the Mariners would have been with Griffey, Arod, and Ichiro.

Okay, Kent is a bad example, but he's the first person who came to mind. Still, Kent will run out a grounder, or a pop fly. Kent will fly with his team. Kent will do an interview. Those are among the reasons I'd rather have Jeff Kent than Barry Bonds on my team. I should probably also mention I'm a Pirates fan.
