destructoid.com — Kaz Hirai, infamous for saying things that get him in trouble, revealed that Sony will not create a brand for their game download service. What is more entertaining is his insistance that we just refer to the network as just "Playstation 3" because there is no "Playstation Offline". So is he planning to ship that hard drive full of games? Um, no.

This article is filled with fanboy-ism, but it IS really dumb that they are not branding their online service."Hey! What's your....PlayStation 3 name"orPerson 1: Hey, can you play that game on PlayStation 3?Person 2: Of course you can, it's a PlayStation 3 game.Person 1: NO! I mean can you PLAY the game on PLAYSTATION 3?Person 2: Get away from me you freak.

i stopped caring for senseless xbox fanboys long ago, xbox and ps3 are at a different level gamewise, most xbox titles will continue to suck and PS will continue to have great RPG's nuff for mebesides i hatemicrosofts gutsPS: i dont see why we should name the network either

The problem with claiming your offline experience is no worse than the online one (as Kirai is doing, if he really is claiming you won't even notice whether or not you're online) is that you're also claiming your online experience is no better than the offline one.
