Spare me the nonsense about the nonpareil academic standards of yale or most ivy league schools for that matter, as they are littered, by and large, with mediocre intellects and nebbishy, "career" academics who tend to earn their "privileged" academic station more by virtue of the vagaries of a favorable socio-economic standing than by dint of any genuine intellectual competence. The fact that Bush, a mildly autistic, dyslexic, post-alcoholic-cerebral-atrophic cretin of a man had his wits about him to satisfy the "rigorous" academic requirements of an institution like yale speaks for itself. Jacob Plotkin was Cheney's Yale roommate:"It's hard to flunk out of Yale. It's something that one really has to put effort into. Yale at that time tried to make sure everybody who entered graduated.Where others might spend some time on the weekend studying, Dick was either talking, drinking or playing cards with his football buddies."
Rove said the first thing he plans to do after leaving the White House is "go dove hunting in West Texas with family and friends, then drive my wife and the dogs to the beach."DOVE hunting?Killing birds of peace. I love the symbolism. Especially from a hawk.
I have been watching just about everyone who got America into the war run like scared school boys after the GOP totally lost control of Congress. They know that the new government is going to hang them all up to try and they are running from Washington D.C. They better feel lucky that political leaders who loose power are not simply killed like in the old days of Kings and Queens. The crimes these people have commented will not get them killed because they have the advantage of living in a country they stills has some sense of democracy; which is strange because Rove and the Bush government have done so much to ruin democracy and liberty in America.
