Boy, talk about manufactured news. I've seen this story on two social network sites and three television stations now, and it seems painfully obvious that the story and these photo ops were invented for the express purpose of publicizing KFC. I'd bet money that this story was "Dugg to the top" by Internet Marketers.

Agreed, Dave Thomas had the idea of marketing the Colonel. Until they met Sanders was traveling around trying to sell is recipes to individual restaurants.
