This is really nifty. It's akin to (in a way) Opera gadgets.

I am a fan of Opera and KDE. Opera "widgets" are complete arse, they can't do anything useful the kde plasmoids are an actual extention of many items on the taskbar. I really hope the opera guys stop all this time wasting and do what they need to succeed; make a feck'n API. I guess they're main market is mobile though.
