From announcement made on kde-i18n-nl, that's the final version. It will just be renamed from kde/unstable/3.5-rc2 to kde/stable/3.5.0. No new upload needed, just a 'mv'. :)From Stephan Kulow:----------------------------------------------------------------I spent the weekend reviewing commits to the 3.5 branch and tagged most of them as included in KDE 3.5.0. So nowI prepared a RC2 and plan to announce that as final as soon as I have enough binaries. So this means, I will only halt that for really grave problems(put me on CC on bugzilla entries - don't send me private listsof show stoppers). So far all feedback I got was that KDE 3.5is rock solid.----------------------------------------------------------------
A release candidate is just that, a candidate for final release. Seems like the consensus is that there are no serious bugs in RC2 so it's becoming the final release.
"Cause it's digg and not /.The digg audience has yet to reach the levels of the /. crowd."Yes, the number of assh**es, clowns and wanna-be techie/scientists has not peaked anywhere near /.'s number.
