cbsnews.com — The Justice Department's internal watchdog said Monday it has opened an investigation into the agency's use of information gathered in the government's warrantless surveillance program run by the NSA. The review comes a week after a federal judge ruled that the NSA is not required to publicly release details about its secret wiretapping program.

This is like OJ going out to look for the real killer. How long will it be before the best-selling novel, "I Didn't Violate the Constitution, but If I Did, Here's How I Would Do It" by Bush and Friends?

So, the executive branch of government is investigating itself? Yeah, that's really gonna help.

Why waste my tax payer dollars! Even if they do find wrong doing: http://digg.com/tech_news/Executive_branch_to_EFF:_We_re_above_the_law_

"Until then, this is a nice little distraction, and there's little more to it than that." That's all a majority of this s**t is, a distraction. Keep us occupied with nonsense so that we get excited about s**t that in reality we have no real hopes of changing. Not to say we are powerless its just that keep our attention divided, and thusly, us too.

Well said. This s**t is nothing new, and it ain't gonna end with W. He's there for 8 years the lot of them will be there till they die or close to it. We essentially have the same power structure we have had for years. And will continue to have until the next revolution, which if history is any indication will result in much of the same power abuses.

f**k the law and f**k the system. Both are broken. You sound like a klone of that evil f**k Alberto Gonzales.
