One has to realize most of these new hires came from a certain Tier 4 Law School, which means the only two places they can reasonably expect to get hired is the government or Daddy's Law office.

But don't you people get it? Clinton lied about a blowjob! A blowjob! So what if Bush broke with law and tradition and politicized justice? That's just a return to traditional American values, just like in the old days before all of those pesky civil service laws.Actually I am almost willing to accept this if the dems get to do the same thing when they get the executive in 2008. Won't it be grand when being a republican, or a former republican, is grounds for not being hired or promoted in the justice department? Enjoy the cold ladies and gentlemen and don't let the screen door hit your asses on the way out.How are all of those unitary executive madmen going to square that particular circle? Oh wait, I get it, the president is only above the law when he has an "r" by his name. Right.

I investigate myself frequently. And contrary to what my mother told me, I have yet to go blind.Republicans, as you investigate yourselves, remember that it's only natural. As long as you do it in private and it doesn't involve minors, it's okay.

Two words:Fall GuyA senior advisor is just that. An advisor. Someone (A.G.) made the ultimate decision and signed off on it and then lied about his recollection of it. Mark my words. The Bush administration is gonna make someone gonna take the fall for Gonzales. Congress'll be served the "senior advisor" on a silver platter and expected to eat it and like it and forget about taking Gonzales down.
