newyorker.com — " ...the N.S.A. began to eavesdrop on callers...or to investigate them using traditional police methods. A government consultant told me that tens of thousands of Americans had had their calls monitored in one way or the other. [...] the Administration, by not approaching the FISA court early on, had made it much harder to go to the court later."

Your logic sucks. You're from Texas, so you obviously can't be trusted. You've obviously got your head so far up the Bush regime's ass that you can't see the light of day. Every single person in this country who voted for Bush, or supports the reprehensible, criminal activities of this administration has betrayed America. You sir, are a traitor.

The ends do not justify the means.

"Would promoting a civil war in the US be an act of freedom? Or terrorism?"It would be an act of treason, actually. And much more harmful than beneficial -- despite high-profile incidents like this NSA case, the government and its various institutions (police, emergency services, SEC, public schools, etc.) do quite a lot to keep the nation running relatively smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Overthrowing the government would plunge us into chaos.

So what! Just another highly credible anonymous source. Wait until you see the story I am going to break tomorrow! The NSA has been listening in on each and every booty call in the country. And I have a credible anonymous source with the proof!
