chron.com — A federal jury found Tuesday that a southern Arizona rancher didn't violate the civil rights of a group of illegal immigrants who claimed that he detained them at gunpoint in 2004. The eight-member civil jury also found Roger Barnett wasn't liable on claims of battery and false imprisonment. But the jury did find him liable on four claims. . .

I wouldn't pay, I would take that 77,804 dollars and hirer an ambulance chaser and sue them for emotional pain and all kinds of crazy stuff. I would really like to see a higher court try to tell me that I have to pay money to people that are illegally in the country.

No, justinx0 Bush didn't steal those elections - he had the SCOTUS and his Florida gov brother to do that for him. But I'm sure that just confuses you.

Oh Nick, all this blame and only one place to put it..... on the Mexican govt. They are responsible for their people, they are responsible for feeding their people and making sure there are enough jobs for them. For you it's all about NAFTA, I live on the border and can tell you that illegal immigration has been occurring for longer than NAFTA has been around, no matter how much it's increased. Speaking of that, you do realize the the number of people coming across illegally has dropped, especially in my sector, the Del Rio sector in TX, maybe due to the zero tolerance policy, but more likely it's the difficulty of attaining a job now. I think it's down across the board, but here's a link talking about the people returning with their American born kids. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123446646016878579 ...

Sorry nickespinosa.... you can't force the market to make farming for corn profitable for everyone when there is already a huge excess of that product on the market. I'd love to make cars, or cellphones, or T-shirts out of my home. Those are all culturally significant products for my people. But I have a feeling that wouldn't be profitable either, and I should think about doing some work that costs less to do than I get back. Or would you argue that because they are culturally significant that I should just throw all caution to the wind and start pumping out cars out of my living room and get the government to force it to be profitable for me? Maybe some healthy price controls? Make GM charge $100,000 per car so my low quality car can sell for $50,000 and put some food on the table here?

The anger and hate are products of the frustration Americans feel when their government fails to represent and protect them.
