I've only ever looked at a couple people's twitter pages before (I just don't get the point), so I'm not very familiar with how people use it. But looking at this guy's twitter page, it's like a message board where all of the posts are out of context? Is this a typical use of twitter?
twitter doesn't have to be about about what people had for dinner. I use it as a useful information channel. For instance, I followed the Pirate Bay trial through twitter, and I also it for updates about what bands are coming to my town, and various other news updates. Some aspects of its function is not entirly unlike digg, depending on how you use it.
