Is the ban supposed to go through all the current contracts to verify which wells were given the relaxed approval by the now dead MMS dept? Thats the only thing that makes sense, that the oil companies were given approval under MMS and want to hurry the process up before the new dept (Ocean Energy?) discovers the flaws. Time is money! With tens of billions stuffed in a bank mattress, omg they'll lose hundreds of thousands of dollars!
