She was directly responsible for the death of her boyfriend. She should be put to death. Not 4 months in jail. I know this is extreme, but she's trying to profit off a death SHE caused. You forfeit your right to live for that.
too bad she didnt die too...this wouldnt be occuringi hope the opposite happens and her father loses his job and goes bankrupt....he would obviously have something to do with this i'm sure. drunk driving is equivalent to a random shooting...you might or might not kill someonei hope the bitch get what she deserves...SHE killed her boyfriend not the trick driver
I suspect the emphasis on uninsured/underinsured is to justify suing not just him and his trucking company but all those other companies as well. Plus, there's that insinuation that if they were careless enough to let their insurance lapse, what else were they careless about - maintenance, maybe? It's still cold and callous, but the logic's a little different.
@TheOtherOne135The People's Court is the only "court" show (they're all really arbitration) I consider not a compete sham. That's because they're always careful about pointing out the exact law involved in a ruling right down to the state level where the claim was filed.

^ I have a feeling sponeil isn't too manly. Either that or he had sand kicked in his face at the beach by a manly guy.

American Justice is such an oxymoron. Sometimes cruel and unusual punishment should be called for.

I think that if you hit someone while you are piss drunk, all your legal rights go out the window.
