candorny, I think you overreacted a bit. I think Duntless' comment was that the USPS doesn't have a profit motive and the mission is to deliver the mail.I don't have a problem with the USPS making some profit-- e.g. revenue exceeding expenses. That way they can have additional reserves when revenues go down.
@theuber13371 - Rush admits his biases as well and has slammed Republicans for being RINOs.2 - Rush is an entertainer on the EIB network.3 - Neither did Rush. Ever. Although Liberal spin doctors would like you to believe he did.4 - The vast majority of Stewart's audience firmly believe he is one of the only sources of truth left. And there are many of us who find Stewart mildly entertaining on occassion, but overall a loony fanatic as well.So what's your point?
Why does everyone use the "everyone else is doing it" argument with healthcare? Europe's been licking our balls for 60 years or more, why should we all the sudden do something because they're doing it? Anyway, it's a far easier proposal to get healthcare for the 50 million or so in European countries compared to the 350 million here.
The oil companies? They go to the worst places on earth. They dig down a mile, suck up the oil, drag it halfway across the planet. Bring it to the corner by your house. And sell it to you for less than the cost of milk. What's wrong with that?
His point is that RomneyCare isn't that different from ObamaCare. Yes, I know. There will be some differences. After all, in 2000+ pages there would have to be.Socialized health care is worse. There are stories in the British and Canadian press all the time about people dying or going blind waiting their turn for treatment. And these are people that have paid, thru taxes, all their lives.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
I'm from MA. I voted for Brown and asked a lot of others to. We had to stop the tyranny. You're welcome, America.I love this video! Jon Stewart is brilliant. I even think I'll remain a fan when he returns to bashing my guys.

Not to go against the grain, but it does in fact have 200 thousand miles on it.

Where do most of the new drugs and procedures come from? Bet you it's from those dirty money-making corporations. Damn them.
