@locknum: I find Jon Stewart to be pretty funny, but then again, I like laughing at the absurdity of most things, I think they do a pretty good job. Matter of personal opinion. Also, the whole "Jews control the media" thing is kind of over-generalized, go and do your homework before making blanket statements like that.Sarah Palin was only a formidable GOP contender to the more religious oriented part of the Republican party. She represented quite a few things that are currently strngling the party to death right now. To mention that she was completely unqualified for the position (Not knowing the role of the VP, major highlights of the Constitution, and more than the tiniest smidgen of foreign policy do not a potential president make). I'm all for women in public office, but I still want to be sure they can do the job.As for Caroline Kennedy, I tend to scrutinize the government in NY quite heavily as they have far and away been failing the state for some time now. I'll give her the same chance I give anyone: 50/50 then decide the balance changes based on performance. I wasn't too impressed with Clinton in the Senate seat, but sometimes you never know. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt in most cases and let the actions of the candidate or official speak for themselves.And no, I am not a liberal, nor am I an ultra-conservative. I was raised an independent voter in a predominately Republican area of NY. I could give a rat's ass about how media treats people, I care if the job gets done and done well.
