autoblog.com — Bo Duke, aka John Schneider, aka Jonathan Kent, is auctioning off his personal "General Lee" Dodge Charger R/T, what appears to be the lone remaining original General Lee. The bidding has reached $2.3 million on eBay. Anybody want to go halvsies?

What if they use paypal?

I guess that I don't consider a car made in 1997 a "classic".

Wouldn't pay $2.3 million for the car, but I'd pay twice that for the original Daisy Duke.

I wanna play ships mast! I wanna play ships mast!Kim: Now, what did you say after the last time?Omar: Look, I know what I said.Kim: What did you say?Omar: I know I said we shouldn't do this again.Kim: No! You didn't say we shouldn't, you said we ain't ever gonna do that again.Omar: Yeah, but...Kim: But, my ass! You said not only are we never gonna play "ships mast" again, but you also said that if you ever do what you're trying to do now, to not only refuse, but that I had permission to physically restrain your ass if necessary. Now, did you or did you not say that?Omar: What...!Kim: No, no, no, no! Answer the question muthaf**ker! Did you or did you not say that?Omar: Yes, I said that. However...Kim: Whatever which your however. However, when I said that, I didn't know I was ever going to be in America with the chance to play ships mast on the original General Lee with 725 hp with a 511 crate motor that was selling on e-bay for 2.7 million!

Looks like the high bidder on this auction's got himself in a spot of trouble.

Buyer beware, he has some bad feedback. :)

"'the car actually has a 511 crate motor from 1998 that produces approx 725hp.' no way the car has a 725hp engine."A 511 Hemi? Plausible. The 465 Corvette engines that the Can-Am cars used to run did 600-plus, and that was over thirty years ago, Engine tech has progressed. As to "original" - the first car and all of the cars used on the show appear to have been built in the Atlanta area - in Chamblee by Carrera, i think. I remember the day i was on I-20 coming home to Atlanta from Birmingham, heading east just west of Six Flags, and a car hauler with six identical General Lees was heading west, presumably ti L.A.
