politico.com — From Afghanistan and Iraq to military procurement reform, McCain tells POLITICO he is already working with Obama. Last week alone, he had breakfast with Defense Secretary Robert Gates, appeared with the president at a White House press event and took a phone call from Vice President Joe Biden soliciting McCain’s input on how to crack down on pork.

I think John McCain is a decent guy. A lousy pilot but a decent guy.

With all due respect to Senator McCain, if we were impressed by his opinions, we probably would have elected him to the presidency.

Then again, McCain did cheat on his ex-wife WITH Cindy, so in that sense, he was actually telling the truth about her being trollop or "promiscuous and disreputable woman." Just sayin.

@Bryan Have you read "crazies to the left of me, wimps to the right"? Bernard Goldberg had just those sort of repubs in mind when he dubbed them wimps. Play nice and go along with the crazies down the path to destruction. The soft-republicans, like McCain, who don't take a stand against radical-liberal fascists will one day wake up and say "I listened to the girlie-men republicans tell me to go along with the other side of the aisle and they didn't play fair."
